Inborn itself is not open source: its engine, storage, network, catalogue (spec D4) core is public at github.com/moshecohen90/inborn under the Inborn Source-Available Licence 1.0, which grants the right to read, build and verify the code and nothing more. Everything else it ships with is listed here with its license, exactly as the in-app Licenses screen shows it. Inventory dated 2026-09-05.

Not in the catalogue, by rule
These model families are deliberately not bundled or served, because their licenses carry obligations we would have to pass on to you:
- Gemma ≤3 / 3n / EmbeddingGemma / ShieldGemma (Gemma Terms of Use): use restrictions must be passed on as enforceable terms with a copy delivered; gated download.
- Llama 3.x / 4 (Llama Community License): 'Built with Llama' notice, derivative naming, AUP.
- LFM2 / LFM2.5 (LFM Open License v1.0): free only under US$10M annual revenue; review at growth.
- Mistral models under MRL (Mistral Research License): non-commercial.
- espeak-ng (GPL-3.0): copyleft; never linked into the closed app.
